Enhance your Lashes!

Flitter, Flutter Of Your Lashes!

This blog post is all about my favourite false eyelashes to apply and the accessories I use to apply them and enhance my natural lashes!

False Eyelashes!

I haven't really been one for applying false lashes as I always thought it looked complicated and never thought I would be able to apply them myself.
The past few years I decided to give it a go and the set of eyelashes I picked up were a natural set from the brand eylure. I can tell you I haven't tried another brand of eyelashes as they looked fabulous and applied so easily!

A bit about the brand:
Eylure was created in 1947 by two brothers, David and Eric Aylott, renowned make-up artists to the film industry.

David an...d Eric created the product, the modern false eyelash, to answer a lack of effective cosmetic enhancement in the industry. Spotting the opportunity for the wider public, the Aylotts created a brand around their invention and called it 'Eylure' from 'Eye Allure'

The false lashes have vast range from thickness and length for a more natural look to a more dramatic and full lash look.
The three sets I have photographed are my favourite sets I have worn.

The Naturals set (No 031) are great everyday wear to add just a slight fuller look to your natural lash. Only cost £4.95.

The Volume set (No 101) are great for adding extreme thickness and creating a more dramatic look as the lashes are shorter - my favourite to wear on nights out! Only cost £5.95.

The lengthening set (No 116) are great for wearing for maybe a day time special occasion for example a wedding, as they aren't as thick for a dramatic look but add length and slight fullness to lashes to enhance the shape and open your eyes. Only costs £5.05

All these sets I have mentioned are the strip lashes that is supplied with the glue to apply yourself. I have tried the pre glued lashes before but didn't feel like they stayed on as long as the strip lashes. They last long and fit perfectly for all eye shapes! They are all re-usable for a few wears and come with step by step guide and tips on how to apply them!

They also have sets available for beginners that comes with an applicator and trial lashes to practice!

If you want to try wearing eyelashes then definitely check out Eylure lashes!

Accessories!

A few products that I like to use when applying lashes or even just everyday instead of false eyelashes to give them a fuller look.

Although  the Eylure false lashes do supply you with the glue I do find the applicator and the small bottle a bit fiddly! I recently purchased the Revlon Precision Lash Adhesive (£3.56 from Tesco) and have been using ever since when applying false lashes!

It dries fast and clear, has a ultra thin brush and goes on easily!

A useful tip for when applying false lashes with glue, apply the glue to lashes wait 20 to 30 seconds for glue to partly dry and become sticky then apply lashes to your lash line!

Every time I apply make up I like to use the Cosmopolitan Eyelash Curlers for £4.99 as I feel it helps to curl lashes and make them appear longer in length.

A useful tip for when using eyelash curlers is to never use them once you have applied mascara as this will make eyelashes stick to clamps and pull individual lashes out from the root! Always use before applying mascara!

Do you wear falsh eyelashes? What type are your favourite, natural or for more dramatic look?

BirchBox [March] Unboxing!

March Birchbox!

This blog post is about my recent purchase and subscription of the Birchbox beauty box!

For the past few months I have been swithering whether or not to subscribe to a beauty box or not as unsure if I would like all the products and if it would be worth the money!
I have been reading reviews and keeping up to date on social media, reading blogs and watching youtube videos of unboxing the beauty boxes and finally decided I would give it a try!

As you can see the one I went for was Birchbox!

The Box contained 7 items in total with 5 being beauty products!

All beauty product were sample sizes but ranged from skin to hair to perfume and mascara! I really liked this box as it allows you to use and be introduced to some products and brands that may have never heard of or have been wanting to try for a long time but never got round to it!

The other two items in the box included a small notepad and a chapter from the best selling novel 'A Perfect Heritage' by Penny Vincenzi.

One of my favourite items from the beauty box was the Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum.
This serum helps to correct your complexion with it making skin look more evened out reducing dark areas and reduce the visibility of scars.

I really liked the idea of the beauty box and have signed up for a 6 month subscription with Birchbox! The cost is £10 per month and Birchbox appear to do collaborations with other designers in creating their boxes for example, the start of the year they collaborated with Women's Health for the January Box and this month have collaborated with Habitat.

One of the reasons other than adding and gaining more knowledge to my beauty collection is when the box arrives its like a gift and the excitement of getting to see what will be inside is great fun!

I have been looking at other beauty boxes and definitely looking into signing up for a few more including another favourite of many people Glossybox and the new beauty box sellers: Cohorted!

If your a beauty fanatic and interested in trying new products then I 100% recommend trying out beauty boxes a good blog that I came across to help decide which one to go for was: Which Beauty Box

Have you subscribed to beauty boxes? What one is your favourite?

Top Fragrances!

Mixture of Sweet & Fresh Fragrances!

This blog post contains a mixture of my favourite perfumes! From strong sweet scents to fresh & light scents!

Hugo Boss - Boss Orange - 75ml - £54.50 (Perfume Shop)

I love to wear this perfume during the day as it is light with sweetness hints through apple and then smooth vanilla scent coming through to add to the sweetness. It also has orange blossom and white floral scents giving it a fresh smell to it. Great on summer days for a light refreshing spray!

Hugo Boss - Boss Jour - 50ml £50 (Perfume Shop) [white bottle in pic above]

Another elegant fresh but slightly sweet and fruity scent. It has hints of more vanilla and lime scent then a more floral of lily and honeysuckle comes through after. Long lasting scent that is again great for everyday wear as it is too strong or powerful!

Dior - Jadore Dior - 50ml £61.50 (Boots)

Stronger floral fragrance that is best suited for night as it is a stronger scent. If you like more floral, vanilla and not sweet you will love this. It's a classic scent to have as part of your collection. The bottle that is pictured is limited edition with gold sparkles through it making it look luxurious!

Viktor & Rolf - BonBon - Eau De Parfum 30ml (£67.50)

One of my absolute favourite fragrances thanks to you my mum and dad who brought this back from duty free on way back from holiday in Greece. First of all the packaging and the bottle is super cute and lovely in the shape of a dark burgundy and pink large bow- just gorgeous!
It's a very strong scent so only few sprays needed as at first its fruity and sweet then once settles on skin it still has a scent of sweetness but it does have more wood and deeper smell! Great for summery nights! It is an expensive perfume but if you are looking for a strong sweet scent totally recommend this fragrance! Also from Viktor and Rolf if looking for a lighter scent flower bomb is a soft, fresh light floral scent! Another one of my favourites!

The three fragrances pictured above are my current favourite scents to wear!

Valentino - Valentina Eau de Parfum 30ml - £44

A fragrance recently given to me as a gift by one of my closest friends - yep she's a keeper!
Its a gorgeous light floral fruity fragrance with strawberries and jasmine being a prominent scent. Once settled on skin it has a further sweeter smell of vanilla but also strong  deep cedar base. I like wearing this as an everyday scent as its not too overpowering and light and fresh or for special occasions. The simplistic design of the bottle is another perk as it looks elegant and classic.

Marc Jacobs - Daisy Eau So Fresh - 75ml - £55.50

My favourite everyday wear perfume! As usual the Marc Jacobs design of the bottle is elegant and pretty with the floral daisy design on the lid! The fragrance is sweet and fruity with apples, raspberries and strawberry scents coming through then settles down with a musky, vanilla scent. Great fresh light fragrance that lasts all day!

Yves Saint Laurent - Black Opium - 90ml - £79.99

I'm not the biggest fan of the other opium scents but this one has me addicted! The simple sleek design of the black square bottle with glitter and the rose gold see through centre makes it look high end. Sweet vanilla notes and white floral notes make it quite a sultry addictive scent and is great for daytime and for building up for the evening. Quite a statement perfume. It is an expensive perfume but you don't have to apply much when using. My current favourite scent to wear, always get compliments when wearing!

Where I Store My Beauty Bits & Bobs!

Storage of my ever expanding beauty product collection!

This blog post includes what I keep my make-up brushes in, my most used make up bags and all my other beauty bits and bobs!

My Beauty Desk!

Dressing Table!

Overall I keep most of my beauty products on and in the drawers of this beauty desk! This is actually a computer desk and bought the stand alone mirror separate both of which are from Argos. I kept looking for a proper standard dressing table but couldn't find anything big enough as the drawers were all too small or it didn't come with any. This is ideal as the three drawers are deep where I keep extra make up products and more fancier items. Also I keep my hair accessories and products in the drawer too! At the other side of the desk is two shelves that allow me to place more items on where I have put my jewellery box and bag full of nail varnishes!

The stool is a darker brown leather ottoman and inside this is where I keep my electrical hair styling products!
If like me you are struggling to find a dressing table big enough then getting a standard computer desk and mirror separate is a great alternative!

Mason Jars!

I am absolutely obsessed with mason jars! I have them dotted around the house finding a use for them for everything!
One thing I love them for is to keep my make-up brushes in!

It helps keep them all together in neat organised place and also standing them up allows them not to get crushed or brushes to get damaged in amongst a make up bag!
Plus I think it looks great sitting out on a dressing table.

I also like to keep my current favourite lipsticks or lipgloss' that I am wearing in the smaller mason jar as it allows you to keep them out but in a place you know where to look instead of looking through make up bags or drawers or leaving it lying around your room!

Make-up Bags!

I currently have a slight obsession with buying make-up bags... weird, I know!
I seem to get caught up in wither how they look or the size and automatically think 'Oh my lipgloss' would be good to put in here' etc.

Ted Baker - Small wash bag large bow - £19 (Ted Baker)  I like to keep my everyday make up products in this bag!

Mi pac - large cream Make-up Bag - £16 (Asos) I keep some of my more expensive make-up products in this bag as its large enough and so I know where to look for specific items!

Cath Kidson - Classic Box Make-up Case - £10 (Asos) Great for keeping individual eye shadows, eyeliners and other mascaras you don't use daily!

Happy Jackson - 'Lovely Things' Large Make-up Bag - £8 (Asos) I adored the print on the make-up bag and the size, I keep all my lpsticks and lipgloss' in it as its large enough to hold them all!

Powders & Make-up setting!

Powder Top Coat & Keeping Make-Up On Point!

Blog post about my favourite face powders and setting spray to help keep make-up looking as great as first applied by end of day/night!

Powder's!

Maybelline - Fit Me Powder Flawless - 120 - £5.99 (Boots)

Great natural finish for blending on top of foundation for a matte look. Helps to build up tour make up look and helping foundation set on face. Also helps enhance any cheek products like blushers or bronzers. Soft smooth powder with a natural tone making it wearable and feeling light on skin. For only £5.99 its definitely worth a try!

Rimmel - Stay Matte Pressed Powder - £3.99 (Boots)
The Stay Matte powder feels lightweight and smooth. It glides on easily to provide even, natural-looking, long-wearing coverage that effectively conceals imperfections while revealing your natural flawless matte perfection.  As it is free of fragrance, oils, parabens and talc it won't clog pores so its great for all skin types! I found it went on my skin a bit heavy even when only applying small amount but for under £5 its worth a try!

M.A.C - Select Sheer Pressed Powder - NC5 - £20.50 (Debenhams)
Micro-fine, sheer and silky, Goes on lightly and won't affect your shade or leave its mark. Lets skin's natural vitality and freshness glow through. Comes with suede-finish sponge to apply on to go! Makes skin look flawless! I like to apply this product with bigger face powder brush over completed make up look as it helps to finish off the look and keep it in place longer! I definitely notice the difference when I don't use this product.

Make-up Setting!

GOSH - Velvet Touch Prime 'N' Set Transparent Powder - £9.99 (Superdrug)

Helps to minimise red marks and imperfections as well as setting powder for a matte finish and shine control. I do find its quite messy as the powder seems to go everywhere but other than that it is a good product. I prefer to use it as a setting powder rather than primer and it allows my make up to last all day!

Urban Decay - Make-Up Setting Spray - all nighter (118ml) - £21 (feelunique.co.uk)

Fantastic Beauty must have! Makes skin look smoother and keeps make-up on and looking like it has just been applied for up to 16 hrs! Prevents skin looking oily and doesn't let make-up set into any lines or creases in face. Also enhances your make up products making eyeshadows and blushers brighter and foundations fresher. Includes temperature control technology that cools down your make up making it stay put in hot climates or wet and windy weather conditions. Only 3 sprays of it needed each time your applying and keeps you looking fresh all day or night! Available in a travel size (30ml) for £9. Can't imagine not having this item in my make up bag now!

Eye Make-up Primers & Eye Shadows!

Prime, Sparkle & Shine Eye Make-up!

This Blog post features my favourite amazing eye shadow products and eye primers to keep your eye make up on for longer!

Primers!

Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - original - £16 (Debenhams)

Fantastic handy make-up item for keeping eyeshadow's and eyeliners in place all day and night long! Smooth's out the eyelid for any imperfections for a clear base and enhances colours of eyeshadow's, doesn't make eyeshadow crease! Smooth's on easily! Only small pea sized amount needed, it is worth the money!

L'Oreal Paris -  Color Riche Eye Primer Base - £5.99 (Boots)

Fantastic cheaper alternative for the urban decay eyeshadow primer! It helps set the eyelid as a smooth base to enhance eyeshadow colours that you apply. I did find this didn't go on as easily it as a crayon texture where as the urban decay was a cream. However, it does help keep eye make-up products on for longer!

Eyeshadows!

Lancôme - Ombre Absolue  - C90 Black Green - £16.50 (Debenhams) [back row, individual square case in pic]

Lovely smooth eyeshadow that blends well on eyelid. Brilliant shade if you are looking for a darker shade for smoky eye look but not as intense as a black with the hint of green. The green doesn't really show through the product and mainly comes across as a darker grey shade but in certain lights it can look a hint of green.

No7 - Stay Perfect Eyeshadow - Matte Mocha - £7 (Boots) [Middle at back in picture]

This eyeshadow is great for creating a darker look around the crease of eyelid or corners of eyelid against a lighter shade of creams, golds and browns. Smooth texture that allows it to blend easily and long lasting wear. Great for a natural looking smoky eye!

Maybelline - 24hr Colour Tattoo Cream Gel eyeshadow- Pink Gold - £4.99 (Superdrug) [Back right in pic]

One of my favourite every day eyeshadows to wear! Works well own its own with a light rose pink colour but hint of gold shimmer colour through. Perfect for when in a rush or going for a more light make up look! Also works well as a base coat and blending natural colour eyeshadows on top for a more detailed look! Available in a variety of shades & for under £5 it is definitely worth a try!

French Connection - Eyeshadow Collection - £12 (French connection) [large palette on right side in pic]

A great product for travelling with the sleek design that is light and easy to carry with a huge mirror on other side. The set comes in a mixture of natural, brighter & darker colours that are either in smooth or shimmer look! The pigmentation isn't the best from the eye shadows compared to other brands but for the price its great for taking on holiday instead of carrying a mixture of similar shades as they are all on the one palette.

Smashbox - Wonder Vision - Flash - £22 (Smashbox)

Beautiful shades of pinks and purples that blend well together. The more glittery shades don't last as long when wearing but do look great when applied! The more softer tones look great as a base and the adding darker purple shade at corner and crease creates a gorgeous dramatic look! Although it doesn't hold as well on eyelids the shades of the colours do make up for it as they are beautiful!

No7 - Stay Perfect Eyeshadow - Starry lights - £7 (Boots) [Front left in pic]

Lovely shade of golden/creamy tone with shimmer throughout the product! Very pigmented and looks great for a more glamorous natural look with the shimmer also looks great blended with a darker shade of brown!

Too Faced - The Return of Sexy Palette - £38.50 (Boots)

One of my absolute favourite eyeshadow palettes! It is Amazing! The product contains 15 varied shades of eyeshadows from naturals to greys and purples allowing you to create day and night looks easily! Comes with a waterproof eyeliner and also three 'how to create...' look cards which is brilliant for people who are unsure how to blend and what colours to use for certain areas of eyelids for creating the perfect look! I love this palette so much as it has a variety of smooth matte shadows to glittery and sparkly shades that allow you to create a mixture of looks!

have you tried any of the products I have mentioned? What was your thoughts on them?

Highlighters & Contouring!

Define Your Features!

This blog post contains products to help define your features and create more definition to cheek bones, jawline and under brows to show off your beautiful bone structure!

Highlighters!

Benefit - High Beam Complexion Enhancer! - £19.50 (Boots)

My favourite highlighter! It’s a gorgeous pink satin colour that looks great on cheek bones and brow bone! The highlighter creates a radiant, fresh complexion which looks amazing when light hits the area you have applied the cream. I think it finishes off your make up look nicely and can notice the difference when I don’t apply it. I have had this bottle for over 6 months now and it still looks like I have hardly used it as you only need a small dot each time you apply! Fantastic product!

Collection – Illuminating Touch Concealer - £4.99 (Boots)

Although this is a concealer it does work well as a highlighter especially on the brow bone! I like using this for the brow bone due to the easy applicator brush and brightens up the area. Also it is a great use for when you have dark circles under eyes as a concealer and to help skin look radiant!

Stila - Kitten All Over Shimmer Powder - £15 (Boots)

Lovely shimmer powder that comes in a compact case with two shades that work well when mixed together as a highlighter on brow and cheek bones. You can use it as an all over powder for a soft shimmer look as well to help the skin look glowy and radiant. I also like that isn’t too shimmery and sparkly as at first with it being shimmer powder I didn’t know if it would be too sparkly instead gives a natural glow.

Sleek – Precious Metals Highlighting Palette - £9.99 (Superdrug)

I got this product recently and really enjoying it so far! It has four shades; three cream textures and one powder for highlighting. I love the lightest shade at brow bone and the other two cream shades as highlighters on the cheek bones and t zone. Would say this highlighting palette is definitely worth a try! Great range of highlighters for only £10.

Contouring Products!

Collection - Bronze Glow Matte - £ (Superdrug)

This bronzer is a great product for contouring as it isn’t too dark a shade and as it is matte is perfect to creating shadows and defining features! The powder is soft and blends well! For the price totally recommend!

Sleek – Face Contour Kit (light) - £6.49 (Superdrug)

I haven’t been using this contouring kit long but I have been loving it! The shade isn’t too dark in the light shade against my fair skin and the powder is soft and blends well. It comes in a neat compact with mirror and two shades of a lighter powder for highlighting – great for on the go! Helps to define my features and can’t imagine not applying it along with rest of my makeup especially when creating a more detailed look for my makeup! Again for the price it is definitely worth giving it a try!

A friend of mine (Michelle Craw) who is a brilliant makeup artist sent me some tips on highlighting and contouring, check out Michelle's Facebook page: Glam And Glitter & Instagram Page: Recklessbaby69 to see her amazing work!

Tips on contouring and highlighting:

1. I usually start off once I've prepped my face with benefit pore primer, benefit eye primer, then concealer blemishes and dark circles. Then conceal with powder to set....
2. Take a dark bronzer with no shimmer in it. And an angled blusher brush, and a thin contour brush and a fan brush.
3. I usually start under my cheek bones, so sick your cheeks in, where the crease is on your cheek blend the bronzer with your angled blusher brush, then extend the blend up on to your temples onto your sides of forehead and across the hair line.
4. Contour nose, take the fine contour brush and draw a line with the bronzer from bridge side of nose to the side tip of nose, and repeat for other side, also draw a line under tip of nose, and then blend. This will make your nose appear smaller.
5. Contour under your chin and jaw line with the angled brush and blend, also add a dust of bronzer to the neck to equalise the colour on your face to neck.
6. Add your blusher to the apples of your cheeks, and fill those brows in.

 Now Highlighting time.

 1. I like using a baked highlighter especially when I'm contouring with powder. Take your highlighter and dust a little on your top cheek bone under eye.
2. Dust in the middle of the nose from bridge to tip
3. Highlight center forehead, and eyebrow arch.
4. Highlight above the cupids bow of your lip under the nose.

This is how to Define your face in Easy Steps.

Everyday, Natural Lipstick Colours!

This blog post is all about my favourite natural lipstick shades for a simple, fresh everyday make up look.

Maybelline - Colour Sensational - Coral Tonic - £6.99 (Superdrug) [Back left in pic]

Fantastic brighter coral shade that still goes well for an everyday make up look! The Lipstick has great shimmer through it as it has mineralising pearls throughout it. M.A.C - Lipstick  - Modesty - £15.50 (maccosmetics.co.uk) [Middle in back line of pic]

One of my favourite everyday lipsticks as the colour is fantastic nude with a hint of pink that smooth's easily across the lips due to creamy texture. Revlon - Colourburst Lacquer Balm - Demure - £7.99 (Boots)

Fantastic chubby lip crayon that moisturises lips as it features shea and coconut butter in it. As well as moisturising the soft colour also appear shiny and irresistible! Maybelline - Color Sensational - Coral Pearl - £6.99 (Superdrug) [Middle in pic]

Similar to the other shade of Maybelline color sensational with the smooth, moisturising texture of the lipstick. This one is slightly peachy colour as opposed to a coral and great for a more subtle look. This lipstick has more of a shimmer to it and also smells great! Fantastic lipstick for only £6.99!

Yves Saint Laurent - Rogue Pur Couture Golden Lustre - Golden Beige - £26 (feelunique.co.uk) [front left in pic]

One of my favourite lipsticks! The stunning packaging is a bonus as it can double as a mirror and looks fab! The lipstick itself is not that bright colour but you can add as many layers to build up colour you want. It has shimmer of gold throughout it and looks great on lips!

L'Oreal Paris -
Color Riche Exclusive Nudes - Barely Peach by Julianne Moore - £6.99 (Boots) (middle in picture above)

Great soft creamy texture that feels great on lips. This collection has 5 other nude shades all designed by celebrities this one created by Oscar winning actress Julianne Moore. For only £6.99 it is certainly one every one should have in their make-up bag!

Avon - Ultra Colour Lipstick - Sparkling Nude Shimmering Shade - £5 (Avon)

Fantastic price for a long-lasting wear lipstick which is soft and feels like a moisturiser as well as having a shimmer through it! The sparkling nude shade has a hint of peachy shade which suits pale complexions. Great affordable lipstick!

Beauty Must have! Great for any stray hairs needing plucked and keep on top of your shape of your brows at ease! Slanted edge makes it easier to grip on to smaller, finer hairs.

In the picture below these are the brow products I tend to use everyday for my make up look.

Eylure - Defyning and Shading Brow Ink - £8.45 (Superdrug)

The Pen has two sides with the soft, tapered end to be used for precise application and the wider tip is perfect for filling in the brow. It helps create a well-shaped and arched brow, whilst the rich, long-lasting colour temporarily dyes the skin. I like this product for the outline and enhances the shape of brows. Great product for the price!

Shiseido - Eyebrow Styling Compact - £25 (Feelunique.co.uk)

Great colour match for light coloured hair, also comes in darker shades! Allows a more natural look to brows and use this product to fill in brows almost everyday! The two tones let you blend both together to achieve a softer look.

Real Techniques - Brow Brush - £7.99 (Boots)

Fantastic angled brush that help you to fill in eyebrow more venly! Also allows you to create outline at ease! Use it every time I fill in my brows!

Benefit - Speed Brow Gel - £17.50 (Boots)

Brilliant product for last minute touch ups and to keep stray hairs down. The gel sets on eyebrow but doesn't go clumpy or flaky and stays on all day long! It has a tapered brush to add more definition along the start of eyebrow then using full brush for rest of brow.

Do you wear any prodcust in your eyebrows let me know in comments below!

Real Techniques Make-up Brushes!

Favourite Make-up Brushes!

This blog post contains information on the brand of my favourite make-up brushes with a bit of a background to the creators and some of their products that I love to use!

About Real Techniques!

Real Techniques is a brand created by two sisters Sam & Nic Chapman who were always involved in make-up from a young age and career path led them to working a top brand make up counters. In 2008 they created their first YouTube video under the name 'Pixiwoo' uploading videos on tutorials of how to create make up looks, reviews of products and recreating celebrity looks! As their channel grew over the years so did their idea of creating the right tools for people to use to help them create their make up looks. Through the expanding social media it allowed them to gain ideas from what their viewers wanted.

In 2011 they launched their 'Real Techniques' brushes and gained global success with these amazing brushes! They continue to expand their range of brushes and work with fashion magazines, their own digital fashion magazine, working on TV and still continue to grow their Youtube channel which has millions of subscribers!

Products!

The Real Techniques brushes are available to buy individually or some are available in starter sets from their original brush collection.

In a starter set brushes for eyes it has 5 styles of brushes including; base shadow brush, deluxe crease brush, accent brush, pixel point eyeliner brush and brow brush. This set comes in a travel case and only costs £21.99 from Boots and Superdrug stores as well as their online shop.
This set is my favourite of their range as the brushes help define eyes with the soft layered brushes to create the make up look you want at ease! At a reasonable price for 5 different brushes I totally recommend this set!

They have a wide range of brushes for all your make up needs! The brushes include Powder face brush, stippling brush, blush brush, lip liner brush.
Each of these brushes have the same soft features and hand cut layered brush which helps enhance and buff the make-up product on to your skin. Since I have been using these products I haven't had any issues with any of the brush hairs coming loose and still feel as soft on skin. Also the simple design of the brushes makes it comfortable and light to hold and also stand up easily for storage.
They range in price from £10 to £20 depending on brush making them reasonable for such high quality brushes.

New Products!

Real Techniques have launched new line of brushes called their 'Bold Metal' collection which I couldn't resist temptation and had to buy a few of them to try to see if they were as good as their original collection. I was most definitely not disappointed!

The rose gold and silver metal looks of the brushes are one of the highlights of the product as it caught my eye straight away in the shop! The brushes have softer than ever bristles, and are weighted for optimal control and comfort as the brushes are engineered for perfect weight distribution when tipped toward the face for use.

The products I have bought which are featured are :

  • (Rose Gold brush in middle) 301 Flat Contour - £22 (Boots)
  • (Brush on left hand side in picture) 201 Pointed Crease - £12 (Boots)
  • (Brush on right hand side in picture) 200 Oval Shadow - £15 (Boots)
I couldn't imagine applying my make up without these brushes anymore, definitely recommend you to try them out and also watch Pixiwoo channel on youtibe for hints & tips and make up looks!
