Urban Decay Naked Palettes!

Amazing Eyeshadow Palettes!

This blog post is all about my favourite go-to eyeshadow palettes - Urban Decay Naked!

The Urban Decay Naked palettes come at a price of £38 each. There are three palettes available Naked (featured), Naked 2 & Naked 3 (featured). They can be found on Urban Decay Website, from various Boots & Debenhams stores etc.

I absolutely love these palettes and are always my go to eyeshadows to wear! The pigmentation from the shadows are amazing and feel soft smooth velvety on eyelids! They last all day and night when wearing them and even the sparkle and shimmer ones don't fade! They also blend brilliantly together and easy to create a range of looks.

Naked Palette!

The first Naked Palette to be released by urban decay in 2012.
The Naked palette packaging is a dark burgundy velvet case that is long but not too bulky in size! It includes compact mirror and a shadow brush! The shadow brush is super soft and helps to blend the colours on your eye lid!

The set contains 12 shades in a range of textures including smooth matte satin sparkle & shimmer looks! It also has a variety of pale neutral tones but does have darker intense colours too. Great for creating a whole range of looks!

The reason I chose this set was due to the great reviews and can see why it is a best seller eye shadow palette! I also liked the shades in the palette and knew I would wear most of them by creating different looks. You can create great day time very minimal looks or more dramatic looks with the shimmers and darker shades.

[Shades from left to right] Virgin, Sin, Naked, Sidecar, Buck, Half Baked, Sings, Darkhorse, Toasted, Hustle, Creep & Gunmetal. My favourite shades from this palette are:

Sin for a great base colour with slight shimmer

Sidecar for slight sparkle over a neutral brown or cream shade.

Hustle for creating a darker shimmer to pink tones

Creep for an intense smoky eye look that also has great sparkle.

Naked Palette 3!

Another gorgeous eye shadow palette with a mix of smooth and shimmer textures. I am a sucker for anything rose gold and one of the reasons the packaging stood out with it being a rose gold colour.  The shades of the eye shadows also have a rose gold feel to them.

The set contains 12 new shades of eyeshadows again like the naked palette including soft matte to sparkle and shimmer textures.

This is my favourite set out of the naked palettes that I own as I am loving the full range of colours that are available. I also like that I can wear some of the shades on their own during the day and then add in a different darker or shimmer shade later on for an evening look. I also feel these colours look great against my pale complexion and blue eyes as it makes them stand out even more.

[Shades from left to right] Strange, Dust, Burnout, Limit, Buzz, Trick, Nooner, Liar, Factory, Mugshot, Darkside, Blackheart.

My Favourite shades from this palette: (so hard to choose just a few!!)

Mugshot I always find myself putting this along the crease of my eye for a darker look along it.

Burnout great shade for an base and every day eye shadow look

Liar goes well with limit and burnout to create a more jazzy and shimmer look

Blackheart is a definite favourite as it is a dark burgundy/black shade with speckles of red glitter through it that looks great for a dramatic look and when the light hits it looks fantastic.

I haven't tried the Naked 2 palette but I think I may invest in it too as I haven't been let down by these palettes and recommend them as although they may be expensive you get a range of shades and textures of eye shadows that you can create many looks.

Have you tried Naked palettes? What one is your favourite? and what is your favourite shades?
